Craig Price
Master Teacher + Mentor Teacher Craig has been a part of Barron Park Playschool since the school began in the Bay Area back in 1981, but feels he is only part of the way towards a lifetime of teaching and learning. Craig is a master teacher and educator - often sharing his experience by mentoring local college students during their Early Childhood Education teaching practicum. Craig maintains his love of teaching by re-inventing his curriculum based on the needs of the children. The kids love his silly songs and playful nature - he is known for leading rousing choruses of "Matilda the Gorilla" and the kids' favorite, "Ghost Riders," accompanied by his Q-chord. Craig is also a master story-teller and enjoys bringing nature into the classroom. Craig complements his experience with an outstanding and adventurous attitude and ongoing studies at local institutions. Although he is a veteran of education, he approaches each day with the eye of an apprentice. |
